Pelmennaia - "Пельменная"

Pelmennaia is one of my favourite places in Berlin when I crave home/comfort food. I would definitely suggest vegetarian Borscht soup and Napoleon cake. I gave a try to Syrniki twice, but unfortunately I did not enjoy them as much, and I somehow had heartburn in the stomach. I would come more often and to try other vegetarian dishes next time when I am back to the city, but the owners need to figure out the “wc” issue for that:) since it is not possible to stay long in the restaurant, especially when you are drinking/eating liquids.

We were looking for a cozy place with good food and by accident came across Pelmennaia. It’s a hidden gem! The moment you enter you feel at home. Everyone is very sweet and welcoming. We were served right away, and the food was absolutely delicious and home-made. There were many people stopping by to grab their to go orders. And you could tell people who come are their constant customers. All in all it’s a great place to check out if you are in a mood for a cozy atmosphere, friendly people, and delicious food!

Excellent food. Enjoyed all the dishes. Lunch set was value for money. Highly recommended

Delicious food for a very good price. Highly recommended. Be aware that there’s not toilet though.
