Beautiful cafe with a picturesque view of the small park. They have beautiful decors and potted plants. The place was not crowded and its a cozy place for lunch. Menu was extensive. Striploin & potato was delicious, though slightly salty for me. Sourdough toast was perfect. Matcha latte was thick, nice and not enough for me. Black coffee was okay. Limited desserts. Service was great.

Tried this place during an exploration week after seeing it recommended on Red Note, but it turned out quite disappointing. With the price averaging around 50 per pax, I expected better—especially compared to similar spots in PJ. The Salmon Chazuke even came with bones. For the PPC breakfast, the mushrooms, vegetables, hashbrown, and baked beans were alright, but the hotdog, sourdough and eggs were really below expectations. The coffee, however, deserves a four-star rating.

Overall, the food & atmosphere were excellent. Ordered: i) salmon chazuke: 8.5/10; soup turned cold rather fast but other than that, it was a delightful comfort food & devoured it ii) carbonara: 8/10; huge portion & my friend struggled to finish it even though she was starving iii) houjicha latte: 9/10 🤩!!! iv) iced chocolate: 8/10 Would like to give a big shoutout to Neo, Sydney & Kyro for making the experience extra special! I wanted to celebrate 15 years of friendship with my best friend and asked if it was possible to have it written on a plate served with the Basque cheesecake & choc daifuku (which were also amazing btw). Initially, it didn’t seem possible as there wasn’t a piping bag available, but Neo gave the green light and insisted they would try. Sweet Sydney then improvised with wtv that she had and made it work beautifully. Kyro was also wonderful, warm, attentive & such a great conversationalist throughout my time there! The boss truly hired an incredible team. While this may have been a small request, the effort they put in meant so much to me 🥰 Thank you for going the extra mile, it really made the day unforgettable 🫶🏻

We had a lovely time at People’s Park Café 🌿☕ Chill and cosy ambience overlooking the park 🌳✨ perfect for a relaxing meal or coffee break. Service was friendly and attentive . We enjoyed the Home Benedict, and my family loved the Chicken & Hummus and Grilled Chicken & Striploin with Potato 🥔 , generous and well-seasoned. Good food, great vibes, and we’ll definitely be back 💛

Just a psa if anyone wants to come here to work on your laptop that it is NOT a work friendly cafe even know it was being reviewed as such. When I asked for the WiFi password the staff say they don’t have, even know I see it on my network, when I asked them why were they advertised as a work friendly cafe the staff very sarcastically answered “probably cause you could work here?” I find that really off putting and rude. Ordered the salmon chazuke and it was bland. I personally would not come here again just from the sassy respond from the staff.
