via GoogleI was so happy to find this coffee shop while at Orchard Grocer (they're the ones that recommended it!) The staff were very friendly and explained their different beans based on what I was in the mood for as a coffee noob, and their iced coffee process. They brew the coffee hot (as it should be) and rapidly chill it with a cool contraption. It was an absolutely delicious coffee. Had to pass by every day of my trip! I also love the vacuum tubes to carry the beans directly into the machines. Definitely recommend!

via GoogleSpecial concept! Roasting Plant roasts everything onsite, brews each cup to order, and shows the beans in their fancy tubes. There’s 7 hoppers of different beans from all over the world. Each coffee drink is brewed fresh, which is rare for drip coffee. You can see and hear the beans shoot from the hopper through the tubes into the machine. Cool experience! The barista was kind enough to let me sample a few different beans. You can get any of the beans brewed fresh as drip coffee. Freshly roasted, freshly brewed. The coffee? The drip coffee was solid, but not as strong in aroma or taste as a pourover or something I would’ve expected. Solid coffee. The space is nothing special: lacks indoor seating, and has one table outside. Super cool watching the coffee beans roast! Management should consider making the space for homey to hang-our in with additional seating. Drip coffee score: 4/5. Everything else score: 3.5/5. Overall score: 3.75/5.

via GoogleLoved this coffee spot – great that you can choose your beans. The flat white had the perfect coffee-to-milk ratio with a smooth, creamy texture. The barista is super friendly and brightened up my morning.

via GoogleLOVE the coffee and the people working here are so friendly. Would give 5 stars but in the past few weeks it's been incredibly hot in the shop, especially when beans are roasting. It's difficult being in the store, I don't know how the baristas work all day in that environment...

via GoogleI love a cafe that you could pick the beans!! But I was a bit disappointed with the Jamaica Blue Mountain that cost an extra $3 for an already expensive latte ($9 total), which I would have been happy to pay for but it wasn’t particularly worth the money. I’ve been to other cafes that serve the same bean for a similar taste for much. Also, they served a really small cup. Like $9 for a small latte?
