Stopped by here on the way to Malibu and loved it! Super dog friendly, a huge selection of coffee, smoothie, etc options, and wonderful breakfast options (went with the breakfast sandwich) including pastries. Got to try their maple scone fresh after baking and it was great! As a plus, spotted Don Cheadle waiting for breakfast too!

Rustic Coffee is a cute small coffee shop (air-stream trailer) on W. Channel Rd and Short st. The only coffee shop to grab coffee in the area besides the Chevron convenient store. They offer flavor full smoothies, coffee, and pastry food. I had Topanga smoothie w/c was perfect for a hot day; it was flavorful and made of fresh ingredients. Staff was friendly and professional. Outdoor garden patio seating only. Atmosphere was great despite a lack of music! Price of smoothies for a regular 16 oz size were on the high end. Street parking only. Overall, it's an okay coffee place.

Rustic Coffee is a hidden airstream-like gem on W Channel Road in the Pacific Palisades part of Santa Monica. If you want to try coffee by the beach, this is a great spot to hit on your way. They have some seats and tables available in the courtyard, alongside a few other vendors. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, and has a genuine warmth to them that makes you want to return. We went with the iced oat latte and hot mocha. For non-dairy options they have both oat and almond milk. My only wish would be that they’d also work with a local specialty coffee roaster that fits their local Los Angeles vibe. They have a large selection of beverages, including smoothies that I’ll definitely be trying on my next visit.

Rustic Coffee is an unremarkable place at first glance, a real diamond in the rough, but at the same time beautiful. A small cozy place with a classic coffee shop menu, where you can sit while you wait for your order or enjoy it. But this is not the main thing here. Anyone who understands coffee and its preparation knows that in America it is very difficult to find good coffee - sour/bitter, overheated with foam in half a glass of coffee, which also has to wait unreasonably long, has become the norm (hello Starbucks) But in Rustic They know how to make coffee! As an experienced barista, I can safely say - If you love coffee, then be sure to visit this establishment, you will not regret it. HIGHLY recommend.
