I attended the SCA Barista Skills (Foundation) workshop conducted by Trainer Danny, and it was an excellent experience. Danny was highly knowledgeable and made the session engaging and interactive. The workshop notes were informative and supported the theory part well. We had plenty of hands-on practice, including espresso brewing and milk frothing, which made the learning practical and enjoyable. The training premise was well-equipped and conducive for small group learning, creating a comfortable environment to ask questions and practice skills. Plus, there was no shortage of great coffee throughout the day!

Attended a 1 day Barista Skills Foundation Course with trainer Darren. He did such an excellent job explaining information and instructions, using excellent analogies like local curry to help us have better understanding. I left the course with a much deeper appreciation for coffee and the process of how brewing can affect its taste.

Kudos to Danny for a great course, learned a lot from him. Would recommend! Managed to make some abstract latte art but good basics. Bonus is the good coffee to drink, had like 5 cups hahaha. Located at a quiet rustic spot in Seletar, limited food options except expensive cafes and restaurants.

Attended the 1 day Barista Skill Foundation Class, it was really fun and educational. Darren shared with us the different types of coffee and how to balance the bitterness and acidity. The hands-on coffee brewing and latte art is amazing! Didn’t know it’s actually so tough to ‘draw’ a heart using the milk foam!

Joined the 1 day SCA foundational course here, so as to use my skillsfuture credit before they expire and was not disappointed. Instructor ( a coffee roaster himself) was highly knowledgeable on coffee beans origins and extraction methods. Liked that the class size was kept small as the instructor personally guided each participant during the practical I.e learning to use the machines to produce an espresso, steaming milk and latte art. Thanks for your insights and patience :)
