Tried the Double Espresso DOI SA KET at Somewhere Espresso Cafe in Chiang Mai, and it was excellent! The coffee had a rich, smooth flavor, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

This is my favorite little “hidden gem” coffee shop in Chiang Mai. Super-friendly owners, amazing coffee and non-coffee drinks (their Thai iced tea) was one of the best I had in Thailand), and some tasty pastries to go along with it! They sell some fantastic local beans as well, which I can highly recommend. For the quality, it’s amazing how reasonable the prices are as well. When the weather is moderate they open up the front of the shop to be open-air, but during the heat of the afternoon they close it to keep it nice and cool inside with air conditioning. Very convenient location to grab-and-go, but they have a surprising large amount of seating for such a tiny little place: 2-3 benches/tables inside, as well as 3 tables outside. Really recommend for a getting a drink and people-watching for a wee bit outside. Edit (August 2025): was back in Chiang Mai and wanted to stop on again. The shop has changed a bit and became better! They had added a much larger indoor seating area now (you can comfortably sit with your drink), and they also have a list of single origin and house blend coffee beans you can choose from to have as a pour-over or in your coffee drink of choice. I am adding the pictures below to show these changes. They’ve also got a few more creative coffee concoction, as well as some desserts (cookies and cheesecake) to choose from. The couple who own this place are still lovely, and the woman’s English is excellent for talking about coffee, so if you have an questions please feel free to ask! I cannot recommend this spot highly enough - in a city filled with awesome coffee shops, this one is my favorite.

If you want real good roastery-grade coffee in Chiangmai, this is the place! So many options for Single Origin beans - the owner also knows what to recommend when I asked for something more fruity. Lovely atmosphere inside as well!

A small and cozy café with amazing coffee 10/10, no doubt! They roast their own beans, so the flavor is super fresh and aromatic. The homemade cookies are also delicious, and coffee starts at just 45 THB, such a great deal for the quality. It’s a cute little spot that I always come back to whenever I’m in Chiang Mai. Must visit for coffee lovers! ☕🍪✨
