Starbucks Tràng An

Disappointing Service and Substandard Drink Quality I visited this famous Starbucks location today and was extremely disappointed. I ordered a hot drink, but it was served iced. Instead of remaking it, the staff simply removed the ice, heated the remaining liquid, and added a bit of espresso. This is not the standard I expect from Starbucks; the drink tasted terrible and watered down. Furthermore, the staff seemed unprofessional, chatting and laughing among themselves while service remained slow. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their training.

Take away only, hey accept credit card, Apple Pay, etc.. They have decaf! Probably the only place in Vietnam that actually does decaf! Very tiny cafe that fits the vibe of the place, it’s right in the center of all the shops around it, and parking is right close by. There are no tables or chairs to sit though. But there are plenty of places close by. The line was long, had to wait 7min. But the order came quick, decaf iced latte in about 1 min along with a Vietnamese dessert. The girls working there were polite.

Very smart to locate a coffee shop in the legendary Trang An ancient town: every visitor will order one drink (including myself) to check-in with some photos. However, service and drinks somehow not what we expected.

Starbucks at Tràng An, Ninh Bình is a lovely place to relax with a cup of coffee while enjoying beautiful riverside views. The outdoor seating area is especially charming, perfect for taking in the peaceful scenery and cool breeze by the water. The drinks are classic Starbucks quality, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Whether you’re stopping by after exploring Tràng An or just want a scenic spot to unwind, this cafe is a great choice.

Considering the daily flow of visitors to the Tràng An area, this Starbucks location has great potential for a more well-invested store where guests can sit and relax while waiting for their next tour or activity. However, there is currently little to no seating available, even temporarily, which can be inconvenient when waiting for drinks. The drink prices are typical for Starbucks and reasonable for tourists, but relatively high for local residents. With a spacious area and a beautiful location, the store feels underinvested compared to the scale and image of the brand at such a major tourist destination.
