Studio Matcha

A very instagramble place serving ceremonial grade matcha, desserts, and fun. This green oasis is full of interesting rooms full of flowers, funky designs, and even a secret room. I got a delicious strawberry matcha and my sister got a hojicha, both were very rich and tasty. We also tried a fermented black rice tiramisu which was a surprise treat! This is the sister to their yellow matcha place called Atelier, but has a bit more ac. The place in a bit inwards past the main road, so make sure to tell your tuk tuk driver to drive into the smaller street until you see a large green statue. The prices can be a bit steep, but they have a few options. For our two drinks and a tiramisu, we paid about $14. Nice place to chill at and spend time with friends.

I stumbled upon this place and had no idea what was in store. I’m not usually one to review, but this matcha was honestly the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of matcha’s haha). Not only that, the staff were so incredibly sweet and even walked me through the different matcha’s/notes/intensity’s. I had the raspberry matcha with oat milk and 25% sugar. Amazing. Also, the place itself is a piece of art, such a cute place to relax or take photos in. This is a must go if you’re a matcha lover like me.

Located beyond a waterpark, it provides ample parking space. Very spacious interior with reasonable table allocation. The tiramisu dessert and custom matcha drink are out of stock, which is disappointing. The mochi dessert failed to impress, given the texture and taste. The mochi strawberry also out of stock. Environment humid even with air conditioning. Don’t feel to stay in the cafe.
