Specialty coffee geek HEAVEN! Within three days I visited twice while in a short trip to Paris. At Synapse, I found people to discuss history, architecture, varieties of coffee, neurology, anthropology, history, politics, and of course art and philosophy. I can’t deny it was even a bit intimidating. However, I was dearly welcomed. I even learned some French and got gifted a book by a customer about Paris! The coffee is delicious! The barista who served us is actually a doctor. Dr. Louai is also a national coffee competition champion! The experience could not be more real! I am traveling home with two bags of Synapse’s specialty roasted coffee beans! God willing, I will be coming back!

I absolutely love the coffee here! I’m very happy that they have excellent quality decaf coffee, since it’s very rare in Paris to find specialty cafes that offer decaf! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff:)

This place is truly special! The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. You can feel the passion and care in every detail. Thank you for creating such a warm and lovely spot — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Fabulous coffee - they make a great flat white in this bijoux cafe in the 10th. And you can buy a selection of quality beans too. It’s tiny so expect to wait for a seat, or grab one à emporter.
