TAKAO COFFEE

Nice café. It was full when I arrived on Sunday during the foliage season, but the waiting time was not too long. I believe I was seated within 10 minutes. The cakes look very tempting, but the carrot cake and the orange upside-down cakes did not impress me with their flavor. They were just okay. I also tried an apricot cheesecake. That one is amazing. Coffee was also good, but I ordered M size; they served me L (even though it did not look big) and, of course, charged me for big too. It's also a pity that they do not reserve cakes by phone. So, no 5 stars for service. Yet, as said above, it is a nice cafe, and I would love to visit it again.

We always stop at Takao Coffee when in the area for hot or iced coffee, lattes, cakes, and cookies, depending on our mood and what looks good that day. (But everything looks good there, every time, so it’s hard to decide but we’re never disappointed! They must have a very talented baker.) We love the friendly atmosphere and clean, modern decor, as well.

We came here at around 1030 and it was empty. The staff was extremely friendly and were quick to respond to any of our questions. The food was amazing and our experience was complete with the spectacular views outside. Great place to unwind and relax if you are coming from Tokyo! One of their snacks are so good we had to buy it back to Tokyo and ate some on the plane back home!
