Telang 18 Cafe

We were stuck in heavy traffic on the way back to the city and searched Google Maps for a nearby air-conditioned restaurant. That was how we discovered this charming place. The spacious and cozy setting contrasts beautifully with the surrounding kampung scenery, and the food and drinks were impressively good.

A very beautiful café with aesthetic and Instagram-worthy interior. The menu is quite limited but the best dish has to be the cucur udang - definitely a must-try! Serving time was a bit slow but overall it was still a wonderful dining experience.

Waited almost 1 hour for the food to arrive, which was quite disappointing considering my order was just soto and mihun soup. The food itself was good though. The soto was flavorful and cukup rasa, but I honestly don’t think the portion justifies the RM15 price tag. The drinks were unique and nice. I also tried the carrot cake, which was tasty, but a little dry for my preference. The place itself is beautiful. Nice greenery all around, cool atmosphere, and a great spot for breakfast or morning tea. The ambience was what i enjoyed the most. As for the staff, they were friendly and trying their best. I could tell they were making an effort and maybe didn’t expect such a crowd that day. But waiting almost an hour for a simple order is still hard to overlook. Overall, good food, nice drinks, and a lovely environment, but the long waiting time really affected the experience.

A really cost and natural place which attracted me to enter even at the entrance. A drive into the place was filled with awe. The plants and unique place, spotted several parking space. The interior was simple and that's what a cost cafe would look like. Even the exterior space can be used for dining on cloudy days. Menu is simple and I love the laksa. Kampung menu items like ubi rebus is available and the sambal cicah was so nice. The hot chocolate was too watery and diluted though. I'd love to enjoy reading a book at a corner but the cafe closes at 3pm. Will definitely come again

Telang 18 Cafe was easy to find. The moment you step in, you are greeted by an amazing vibe. The place is filled with lush greenery, plants, and trees—giving it a very tranquil, serene atmosphere with plenty of fresh air. ​Inside, the cozy atmosphere continues with a beautifully decorated, modern rustic aesthetic. I absolutely loved the vibe they’ve created here. ​ The food and drinks were decent overall, though there is some room for improvement: • ​Ubi Kayu: Perfect and heavenly. It was served with sambal bilis and sweet grated coconut. A must-try. • ​Chocolate Cake: Delicious and not overly sweet. The ganache was tasty. • ​Laksa: It was decent, but unfortunately underseasoned. I would have preferred it to be a bit saltier. • ​Telang Tea & Ice Kopi Kampung: Both drinks were okay and refreshing enough. ​ Pricing is reasonable for the portion and setting. All in all, I fell in love with the beautiful environment, but the food flavors could be improved a bit more to match the stellar ambience. Definitely worth a visit for the peaceful vibes.
