I had the most magical afternoon at Hangart. As someone who appreciates beauty, architecture, craftsmanship and design - I was completely mesmerized - Thought and craftsmanship has gone into every detail, the building alone is gorgeously inspiring, with cave like shapes and soft pastel colors that change depending on which room you enter. Everything is interconnected and open - you can feel immediately that this place is special and completely unique to anywhere else I’ve visited in Vietnam. I came with my baby who’s 9 months old - the staff were INCREDIBLE, they helped take care of him so I could enjoy the workshop and offered help before I even had the chance to ask - something I appreciated so much, they showed great care and understanding. While I waited for my silk to steam, I was offered the opportunity to make a notebook from handmade paper followed by a foot and head massage using in-house, handmade (organic) balms - absolutely divine! I cannot recommend this place enough and genuinely can’t wait to visit again. Thank you to Han and her wonderful team for making my experience so positive. 🩵🤍🩵

I had a wonderful morning taking part in the embroidery workshop. It was my very first time trying embroidery, but I was patiently and skillfully guided by the master artisan and her assistants in creating a beautiful embroidered T-shirt that I’m proud to bring home. I was impressed by this place for many reasons. The first thing that catches your eye is the architecture: colorful, unique, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. The craftsmanship of the products on display is outstanding, and the prices are very fair considering the quality and care that go into each piece. Even if you’re not joining a workshop, I highly recommend stopping by to browse the handmade items—they are truly beautiful. There is also a lovely café on-site with excellent drinks and products. One thing I particularly appreciated was that the café is run by deaf staff members. It was inspiring to see such a meaningful commitment to inclusion, something I had not encountered often during my travels in Vietnam. Overall, this place offers much more than a workshop: it’s a creative, welcoming, and inspiring space. Highly recommended if you are visiting Da Nang!

I had an amazing afternoon with Doan completing the laquer workshop at Hangart. She was an incredible facilitator and I loved the traditional technique I learned. As an artist, sometimes it’s difficult to find high quality art classes and workshops but Hangart was exceptional and the level of skill and development is amazing. The building itself is also one of the nicest places to visit in da nang too! Thank you so much for your time yesterday, it was a pleasure

An interesting concept that I haven’t quite figured out yet. I’m still not sure whether it’s designed mainly for tourists or for locals, but either way, it’s a very creative idea. The entire space is divided into several sections dedicated to different crafts and hands-on activities. It starts with a café on the right, while the left side is filled with workshops where, as I understand it, you can learn various skills. From embroidery and painting to other creative activities, the whole place is built around the idea of making something yourself rather than simply visiting a café. It’s a refreshing concept and definitely stands out from the usual tourist attractions.

A very nice place that brings you peace. Every detail shows a great level of care and attention on a daily basis. They offer a wide range of workshops for handcrafted activities. Khanh was a very nice and cheerful instructor at the Painting workshop area. Will definitely introduce this place to my friends.
