via GoogleDie Tea-Time im Ritz-Carlton Berlin war insgesamt ein Erlebnis. Die angebotenen Speisen waren lecker und reichlich. Der Service war angenehm und freundlich. Leider war es sehr laut, ich konnte mich nicht entspannt unterhalten.

via GoogleGroßartiges Ambiente! Hochwertige Speisen. Große Auswahl an offenen Champagnern, dank Stickstoffversiegelung der Flaschen. Für einen schnellen Imbiss zwischen zwei Terminen wohl eher ungeeignet. Vom Zimmer aus fragte ich an, ob viel los sei, was man verneinte. Am frühen Nachmittag war dar Herr im Service allerdings schwer mit den Afternoon Tea-Gästen beschäftigt. Wieviele Austern das Angebot auf der Karte beinhaltete, wusste er nicht genau. Er schätzte „etwa drei, glaube ich“. Ich bestellte dann Champagner mit Austern und Tartar. Allerdings kam der Champagner und dann 30 min nichts mehr. Irgendwann wurde dann das Tartar und die Austern dann gebracht. Da war dann der gute Champagner schon getrunken. Schade, es dauerte außergewöhnlich lange, obwohl nur sehr wenige Gäste anwesend waren.

From the room I asked if there was a lot going on, which was answered in the negative. In the early afternoon, however, the gentleman in service was busy with the afternoon tea guests. He didn't know exactly how many oysters the menu included. He estimated “about three, I think.” I then ordered champagne with oysters and tartare. However, the champagne came and then nothing more for 30 minutes. At some point the tartare and oysters were brought. By then the good champagne had already been drunk. via GoogleWe had a lovely time at the Lounge for High Tea. If you’re looking for the traditional tea sandwiches, you won’t find them there, but the alternative savory “tarts” are very good, we didn’t miss the sandwiches. Not to worry scones with cream and homemade jam are still there. It was my brother’s birthday and they brought out a lovely mousse cake for him. Overall I highly recommend the High Tea at the Lounge Ritz Carlton Berlin.
