The Mechanic Cafe

The food was delicious, but serving was slightly slow during lunch hour. I felt the space was quite stuffy, and there was no ventilation if I sat towards the wall area. Might put more tables and chairs instead of sofas and tall bar tables? Overall still a good experience!

This popular cafe is located on the first floor of a corner shoplot within Cheras Traders Square. I have visited them several times for the past few years, and their food and coffee have consistently maintained its good quality. The cafe can be a bit noisy when crowded. And parking spaces can be quite tricky during weekends.

Comfortable for catching up with friends, and boost a productive vibe for remote working, or studying with a steady WiFi connection. If you enjoy a spacious cafe/bistro with a high ceiling, this is definitely the place for you. Their menu offers a good selection of creative fusion dishes and beverages, all unique and worth a try.

This place never misses! The food is consistently delicious, and the coffee is always brewed to perfection. It’s my go-to spot for a reason.

I visited this café again last Saturday, as it has always been one of my favourite places. During a previous visit, I already felt that the place was quite hot, but I thought maybe the air-conditioning was temporarily not working, so I decided to give it some time before coming back again. However, when I returned last Saturday afternoon, the situation was still the same. There was no cooling at all when I walked in. I tried to sit for a while, but it was really too uncomfortable due to the heat, so I eventually had to leave. I sincerely hope the management can service and improve the air-conditioning system, as a comfortable environment is very important for the overall customer experience. With some improvements, I believe this café can be much more enjoyable again.
