Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee (VivoCity)

It's almost a ritual now that we will grab a cup of coffee at Tiong Hoe Vivocity when we pass by it. It's a good place for a break until you resume grocery shopping in the NTUC. I would stick to a hot white on my next visit though. The yuzu soda coffee didn't really suit my taste.

Ordered a white 6oz to go. - taste is acceptable, could not taste the full coffee taste maybe due to too much milk. - could do with less milk - more for taste and so much for staying awake.

I was pleasantly surprised when a friend introduced me to the café inside NTUC FairPrice—no wonder it’s called FairPrice Xtra! It was fun watching the barista work so carefully and with such dedication. It’s a nice little spot to chill before or during shopping. Both baristas were friendly and pleasant. I recommend trying the hand brew for the full experience. I wasn’t a fan of the yuzu soda + coffee combo 👎🏼. I was told that a floral-based coffee was chosen to pair with the citrus, but it didn’t quite work for me. I told the barista I’d prefer to choose the coffee myself next time—I think a chocolate base would pair better with citrus. Still, it’s worth a visit to explore their variety of coffee beans and enjoy the warm service from the baristas.

I ordered an oat milk latte, and it was beautifully crafted smooth, well-balanced, and rich in aroma, with the oat milk adding a creamy, velvety finish that complemented the espresso perfectly. What truly makes this spot special is the peaceful ambience on weekday evenings, where the quieter setting creates an ideal space to unwind, catch up on conversations, or simply enjoy a slow cup of coffee. A refined and relaxing hangout for those who appreciate quality brews and a tranquil atmosphere.
