Friend recommend this place, said the cakes are amazing. Went there to try the pistachio cake and it was so good. The slight nuttiness and the citrusy lemon paired really well. Also my first time having a light chiffon cake with a cookie base. The whole slice is also affordable, similar price to most cake slices you get at other shops. The orange coffee was good as well. I've had versions with lemon but this one was milder and surprisingly better because they used orange juice. Came on a Sunday afternoon but there was plenty of parking at the row behind.

Love love the cakes at this place. My favourite is pistachio lemon! Tried their genmaicha yuzu, it was pretty good as well. It’s not too sweet and the cream is nice. Great service for whole cake delivery! Been to the cafe a few times, great place for desserts

I ordered the pistachio lemon cake for my colleague’s birthday celebration today and it was a big hit among my colleagues. They loved the yummy crispy base which blends beautifully with the pistachio lemon chiffon cake. Everyone was so pleased that it wasn’t too sweet and just perfect! Yellow Bake Day SS2 has a really good ambiance, making it a lovely spot to relax. We ordered the matcha cake and the pistachio lemon cake, and the pistachio lemon was definitely my personal favorite. The sourness from the lemon perfectly balanced out the sweetness so it wasn't overwhelming at all. Overall, a great environment with some delicious, well-balanced treats!

I specially come to pay a visit because I've been ordering YBD's cake for all my family members' birthdays since Covid!
