Yin's Sourdough Bakery and Cafe (Penang)

We went to the cafe for breakfast twice. It was delicious. Especially the bread with avocado, mushrooms and scrambled eggs (we asked for scrambled) as well as the pancakes. They also have oat milk available for a latte. Great place to start your day

I love sourdoughs, it is the heaven for sourdough lovers. We had pulled chicken 🐔 pizza but they dont have many choices. The pizza was piping hot when it was serve. It's just that they should add more protein options. As for the barbeque sausage pie its huge and I love their homemade sausage sinceI dont eat processed sausages but this was great, we even bought another one for takeaway. This is my second time purchasing the coconut 🥥 bun and 🍌 banana chocolate 🍫 chip bread, but is not too sweet just the right amount, but im not the sweet lover. I miss the chance on buying matcha loaf bread was too sad 😔. Last time I bought blue pea bread, it was really soft and yummy. Nice and friendly staff. Also you can order a few or a day before if u have many orders thru WhatsApp.

Accommodating Staff Nice breakfast and lunch options 5/5 Sourdough toast trio(only served until 11:45am) Served with Kaya jam, Pesto, herb butter and 2x medium runny eggs. A Must order for bread lovers 3/5 Chicken roulade special: chicken had too sweet of a marinade. Salad was fresh. Granola was a weird addition . 5/5 Warm apple pie: generous portion. Chunky apples. Sourdough Upper and lower crust. Light sweetness from brown sugar and cinnamon. Very delicious. Should have Vanilla ice cream as an option 😜 3/5 Coffee: medium, hot Americano, notes: chocolate, fruity and slight acid. Good for the above dishes. I prefer stronger and bolder. A great little restaurant serving all day breakfast (until 5pm) in Georgetown. The food is phenomenal. My first visit I had poached eggs with avocado and tomato on sourdough. I had to come back the next day for the mushroom omelet. And I wasn’t disappointed.

Had a wonderful brunch experience at Yin's Sourdough Bakery with my family. The highlight of our meal was definitely the lasagna. It was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, perfectly baked, and generously filled with ingredients. It is a MUST-TRY item on the menu! The sourdough bread was fresh and aromatic. My family members loved every dish we ordered, and everyone left satisfied and happy. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food, quality sourdough, and a pleasant dining experience. We will definitely be coming back again!
