Bellocq Tea Atelier

A cozy spot with delicious and diverse selection of loose teas. It’s expensive but worth the $$ in my opinion. I’m on my second box of earl grey, Im cherishing every cup. Love this place, warm and friendly staff.

Just WOW. This place is a tea lover’s heaven and I can’t wait to go back one day when I visit New York again. When you enter the shop, it’s like being transported into a serene, intimate atmosphere. The employees are very knowledgeable about all the teas and answered all of our questions with ease. All the different kinds of teas are laid out on a table so you can smell them. I ended up purchasing the White Wedding blend and am planning on ordering more to try.

I've ordered from Bellocq multiple times and have always been more than satisfied with my experience and their products! Their packaging is beautiful and always makes for a wonderful gift. Highly recommend!

Arrive Saturday at 12:05 (they're supposedly open 12-6). Rang the doorbell multiple times, called the store, even saw an employee inside lighting candles and yet no one came to open the door. We waited around 20 mins with no luck-- other customers also tried to get in with no luck. If you're closed you should post on instagram or let people know somehow! Two stars because I've been here before and it was lovely but the inaccurate time and blatant ignoring of customers put me off.

Oh Lord I lovede this place! Sooo nice interior, lovely colours and the lady working this day (yesterday) was very sweet, helpful and friendly. I have been wanting to try this tea for years, but to expensive shipping to Denmark. Finally I could buy some myself. Looking forward to tasting, will be back with that review 🙏
