via GoogleA great cafe experience! I come for iftar with my family. I ordered Pan Grilled Chicken Cutlet, French Fries, OG Carbonara and Tropical Mango Fizz. It was sooo good. Bijou is also a great community-based cafe, with various activities involving community.

via GoogleGreat coffee and friendly service from both the cashier and barista team. We ordered the curry chicken and avocado toast at around 1:20pm when the café was relatively quiet. Expecting a quick meal, we chose the avocado toast, assuming it would be one of the simplest items to prepare. Our coffee arrived promptly within 5 minutes. However, our food had still not arrived after 15mins. We were seated right next to the kitchen and could clearly see the preparation area through the kitchen window. I walked to the kitchen window, what shocked us was that several kitchen crews were squatting together and using their phones at that time. Not any cooking taking place. I approached the cashier and asked whether the kitchen was working on our order. She immediately went to the kitchen window to follow up with the team. Another 15 minutes passed and our food still had not arrived. I had to check again, and the barista once more followed up with the kitchen. Eventually, our food was served after approximately 40 minutes, despite there being only one table waiting for food at the time. The coffee was great, and the cashier and barista team remained courteous and professional throughout. Unfortunately, the kitchen’s lack of urgency, significantly affected the overall experience. Ara Damansara/Permata has plenty of excellent café options. Great coffee alone is not enough when customers are left waiting 40 minutes for a toast while the kitchen appears disengaged from service.

via GoogleVisited Bijou Cafe for brunch and unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. I ordered the OG Carbonara with Chicken Pepperoni, while my wife had the Thaijap Salmon Rice Bowl. Sadly, neither dish met our expectations. The carbonara pasta was significantly overcooked and very mushy, lacking the texture you’d expect from a good pasta dish. It was also quite salty. The “chicken pepperoni” felt more like processed chicken ham than actual pepperoni, which was underwhelming. The salmon rice bowl was not much better. The salmon was dry and overcooked, making it difficult to enjoy. To make matters worse, the food took a long time to arrive despite the cafe not being particularly busy when we visited. On a positive note, the presentation of the dishes was appealing and the cafe has a pleasant atmosphere. However, for the price point, the food quality and waiting time were disappointing. Hopefully the kitchen can improve on consistency and execution in the future. Would be willing to give it another try, but this visit did not leave a good impression.

via GoogleThe Hainanese Chicken Chop was so good. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The source was delicious but just not generous enough for the big piece of chicken thigh. Will try to ask for more sauce on my next visit.

via GoogleI ordered stawberry matcha and Lemon Peach cake, both are must ordered items! The cake base i guess is carrot cake, both cake and drinks won't be oversweetness. The strawberry syrup neither sourly nor too sweet, just adding abit favour and sweetness to the matcha. Nice Ambience with slow R & B music playing, kinda relax w delicious cake and beverages served tho price little high but considering the double storeys glass houz dsign, acceptable ba..
