via GoogleThe Apple Tart is perfection. Crisp, buttery, flaky. Ever since Bread Story opened, I found myself eating this apple tart often. Bread Story is a slice of Paris on First Avenue near Stuyvesant Town. I have been going here countless times and have other favorites. The breads and the inexpensive baguette taken home and slathered with French butter transports me instantly to Paris. Chouquettes ideally must be eaten in the morning when they are fresh. Paired with coffee it is tasty. Now there is a pound cake (quatre quart) sold by the slice and I like the lemon. Service is friendly. Two round tables with high stools are inside so it’s eat and leave. Lingering is not advisable.

via GoogleSo delighted we stopped in! We enjoyed a chocolate almond croissant and I had a flat white which paired perfectly. Staff was very kind and there was little to no issue finding seats. We’re in town to see a show at Daryl Roth Theatre and happy to find a nice place to pass the time.

via GoogleBread Story of New York is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked bread that instantly makes you feel at home. Their selection is incredible—everything from classic baguettes and sourdough to unique artisan creations like olive ciabatta and walnut-raisin loaves. The quality of the bread is unmatched—perfectly crusty on the outside and soft, airy, and flavorful on the inside. You can tell they use the finest ingredients and bake with love. Their pastries are another highlight! The croissants are buttery perfection, and the almond ones are to die for. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help with recommendations. I realize everyone has different taste buds, If you’re a bread lover, this place is a must-visit. Bread Story is not just a bakery; it’s an experience that will keep you coming back for more. 5 stars without a doubt!

via GoogleI love this spot. The coffee & baked goods are both great, my favorite is the cheese bread. There’s always a line showing just how good it is and everyone behind the counter is kind & fast in getting to everyone ordering. The only thing I wish is that there was more seating!

via GoogleThe place is a nice and cozy environment where you can get a sweet and savory baked good treat that will bright up your day. The bread and pastry’s there are one of my favorites in the world and staff is very friendly and great with their customers. I go there whenever I can and it never disappoints. The best thing on the menu in my opinion is the bressane which is a brioche bun with sugar on it and the fluffy sweet bread is to die for. I strongly recommend it.
