Bru Coffeebar

Stopped by Bru after getting some lunch nearby to get some work done, and there weren't too many options for a coffee shop with WiFi in the area, so this option was great. The iced Americano was decent and the WiFi was good, but it was just super busy and the upstairs loft section was so crowded and tight that people kept bumping into each other moving up and down to get their orders or leave.

Bru Coffeebar is a neat coffee spot in Los Feliz. I stopped by after a run in Griffith Park and enjoyed a good cup of flat white. The overall experience was nice too, friendly barista and chill atmosphere. They carry pastries from Friends & Family, one of my favorite bakeries in LA, so that's definitely a plus. Also worth mentioning is the beautiful large photographs on the wall. they are shot by a local photographer and add some colors to the space.

I got a standard drip coffee, for $5, which was fine. I think the appeal of this place is not their menu or their pastries but just the interior. There’s an outdoor seating, indoor and then separate area upstairs. There’s a small art section featuring local artist and some small goods.

I would be Feliz (happy) if I could have this coffee place everyday! Only visiting but very worthy stop!

the matcha wasn’t great whatsoever 😭 I even asked for a vanilla add on afterwards to see if it can at least salvage the drink. since the matcha itself wasn’t coming, I figured sugary milk was better than just milk with a dash of matcha that wasn’t fully bloomed 🥲 had higher expectations in taste overpriced but what place isn’t anymore, anyways the place itself is so cozy and cute
