Cafecito Organico Atwater

Coffee is superb. This place is fantastic. My usual place wasn’t open yet (7A on a Saturday), so went to google so what was open, glad I didn’t have to resort to a Coffee Bean. I ordered my usual, espresso and a coffee. They were both fantastically brewed, and aromatic and flavorful. Can’t wait to come again, a new gem of Atwater.

Out of the three coffee shops in Atwater Village town center, Cafecito Organico is my favorite. Better coffee, better service. Not only because it roasts its own beans, but also because it makes and presents coffee in a more serious way. I usually finish my Wednesday runs at Atwater Bridge so coming to Cafecito Organico becomes sort of a routine. I would get a cortado, have a chat with Summer, one of the baristas there, then stretch my legs in their tiny sunny curbside seating area. Despite the slightly inconvenient location, this walk-up window gets a constant flow of customers, which is a good sign. Cafecito Organico has the independent, almost obscure coffee shop vibe that I like. It might be a personal thing, drinking coffee here makes me feel like a local.

just about lunch time, and everything came out quick. iced cafecito has a good blend with the cardamom in the coffee. turkey and brie sandwich (warmed) is the way, so yummy!

Organic coffee is hard to come by, but perfectly executed organic coffee is even harder! Cafecito is the best coffee in LA! And the staff and incredibly kind and warm. It’s a neighborhood feel and my go to coffee shop.
