A beautiful vintage place with lovely madame behind the counter and a dog as friendly as her, welcoming you inside. I have yet to try the coffee and tea I've bought there but I feel they are good because the service was the best. The lady explained to me different coffee blends and gave an information card for the people I bought presents for. And her english was very good. Thank you. ☕

Girani is a Coffee Roaster supplying some of the best coffee beans in Venice (both to cafes and individuals). The shop itself is timeless and the staff are knowledgable and friendly. This is an amazing experience for any coffee connoisseur visiting the city, as Caffè Girani is the oldest boutique coffee roaster still active in Venice. I’ve noticed some bad reviews here, but these all refer to the place next door as you cannot purchase prepared food or drinks here.

What an amazing visit and a definite trip highlight. Our visit exceeded expectations. We learned an incredible amount about coffee beans, roasting, and brewing by the most knowledgeable dossier. I don’t think I could recommend this family-owned roastery and shop enough. The slim hours are worth working around if they close at noon when you visit. *The negative reviews seem to be for the bistro next door and definitely do not reflect match or the experience we had

The owner gladly explained the various coffees and their roasting process. He then showed us where they roast and through all this, made our purchase an experience...you can trial 😁 an espresso next door!

The Girani coffee roaster shop near the caffé is a great place, very welcoming people, giving best advices about the beautiful selection of coffees : 5 sorts from sweetest to strongest and some extra qualities such as Casanova. Reasonnable prices. Go there to get presents for friends and take some coffee for your own , it’s the last coffee roaster in Venice!!
