via GoogleThis bakery was located near our hotel, and everything was very fresh and delicious, especially the fish quiche. The constant flow of customers and the incredibly pleasant aroma of baked goods speak to its quality!

via GoogleI searched and found that Carton Paris was one of the top five croissant places in Paris. And it’s right near Gare du Nord train station so before we left Paris, we went there. We got there 5 minutes before the place opened and it was already a line there with 3-4 people ahead of us. We got the plain croissant (the one that won 1ST PRIZE in the competition for the best butter croissant of the Grand Paris 2022), the almond croissant and the chocolate croissant, and everything was good, especially if you liked buttery kind of croissant. We also had a quiche and sandwich and they were delicious. There were tons of things we wanted to try there but we only had a chance to visit once. All in all, it was a good experience going to Carton Paris.

via GoogleVery conveniently located close to Gare du nord so you can get some nice viennoiseries & patisseries to take back if travelling through Eurostar. They have a nice outside seating area also to grab a nice cup of coffee however the street is a bit busy so be watchful of your belongings. They got some awards for their croissants and have still priced it at 1.50 which is great.

via GoogleIf you’re looking for a great French bakery in Paris, Carton Paris is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming boulangerie exudes everything you’d expect from a Parisian bakery: authenticity, warmth, and, most importantly, exceptional pastries. Their croissants, in particular, are a testament to the art of French baking. Perfectly golden with an irresistible flaky crust, they shatter delicately with each bite, giving way to a buttery, airy interior. The balance of texture and flavor is nothing short of perfection, making it clear that Carton Paris upholds the highest standards in traditional baking techniques. Unlike many croissants that can feel overly greasy or dense, these are light and layered with an addictive aroma that fills the entire shop. It’s no exaggeration to say they might spoil you for croissants elsewhere. The service here is efficient, even during the busier hours when locals and tourists alike flock in for their daily dose of baked delights. The other pastries and baguettes are equally noteworthy, but the croissants are the true star of the show. Whether you’re a Parisian or just passing through, Carton Paris is a delightful reminder of why France is world-renowned for its baked goods. A visit here is an experience in itself and one you’ll remember every time you dream of Paris.

via GoogleHappened to be the best pastries I had on my trip. Had a croissant that did not cost an arm and a leg and it was super flaky. The strawberry tart was one of my favorites from my entire trip, it was very fresh and light. Would come back and try more, also conveniently located close to gard de nord metro.
