Coffee House to the Golden Scale

This coffee spot in Frankfurt has a lovely atmosphere and a great vibe inside. We tried their cakes, which were nice, though nothing stood out as exceptional or had a “wow” factor. One downside was the 15-minute wait outside for a table, which can be a bit of a challenge during busy times. However, once inside, the cozy and inviting ambiance makes it worthwhile. It’s a decent place to visit for a relaxed coffee and dessert experience.

The Goldene Waage is a must-visit for cake and coffee lovers! They offer an incredible selection of cakes, cookies, and more, all made with exceptional quality. It's a popular spot, so be prepared to wait in line for a table in the charming back restaurant, elegantly set with white tablecloths. But trust me—it’s worth it. You won’t be disappointed!

We stopped here to grab a cup of coffee and we got so much more. This quaint corner coffee shoppe feels cozy and romantic with its perfect little cakes and elegant decor. Our coffee was hot and fresh and towering with crème. Our waiter recommend a tower cake… their specialty… and the little pastry was prefect to split with my husband. Fluffy cake, fruity jam, fresh cream and sweet cherries.

We have arrived some minutes before closing. Anyway, we were well received and attended. Staff was patient and attentive. We have tried chocolate-berries tarte and "Brown cake", a typical dessert from the region
