Compelling Coffee Roasters Valley Village

I really enjoy getting my Iced Vanilla Latte from Compelling Coffee! The place is clean, organized, and calm. Stepping into this cafe feels like you’re stepping into vacation, despite busy Burbank Blvd just 20 yards away. Kyle, the barista, is welcoming, makes great recommendations, and curates the best playlist to set the perfect coffee house vibes. Oh and back to the coffee, the main attraction. Best Iced Vanilla Latte I have ever had. The ratio between the ice, milk, espresso, and syrup makes this by far the best of the best. The syrup is made in house and the roast is premium and top grade. I recommend this latte to anybody for their weekly and even daily treat. Take it from me a consistent customer who happily enjoys his iced latte :D

I love Compelling Coffee! It’s a nice local coffee shop that has good quality coffee beans and the best pastries. I love their lemon bars, banana bread loaves, and coffee cake donuts, to name a few. Kyle is one of the baristas who is super helpful if I don’t know what to order but I describe the amount of caffeine and milk-to-coffee ratio I want, he gives great suggestions for the perfect drink! They open early enough (7:30 am) that I’m able to stop by and grab something on the way to work, but if you have extra time, it’s a perfect environment for reading or meeting a friend, and they play great music on vinyl records. Maximum stars!!

Literally the best coffee. The espresso they use taste so good! The employees are so friendly and good vibes. 10/10 recommend! Also the food menu is simple but taste really yummy!

This is my little rest stop for coffee before work. You enter hearing tunes on a turn table and smell of coffee. What’s not to love. I also subscribe to their monthly roasts club. I love enjoying their coffee at home when I don’t make it in the cafe. My go to order would be their Overnight Oats paired with a Vanilla Pistachio Milk Latte.

A hidden gem in this neighborhood, a calm little oasis! First off, the espresso drinks are high quality and delicious, as well as the matcha. This is several levels up from any chain coffee spot! Love the interior and that they play vinyl records, the pastries are fresh and great, the pistachio milk is awesome, and the folks are always friendly!
