🟨 Nibbies ( Japanese cafe) 181A, Telok Ayer Street Singapore 068629 🟨 Location ************** 🟨 Nibbies, a Japanese-inspired cafe, is nestled on the 2nd floor of a shophouse ➖️ right above the bustling "Gold Ocean Curry Fish Head" kopitiam shop. 🟨 This cafe is literally a hidden gem. ⬛️ Decor / Ambience *********************** ◼️ You climb up two flights of steps, and is greeted by a Japanese-inspired living room ambience. ◼️ The space feels airy, cosy and exudes minimalist Zen vibes. ▪︎Natural daylight streams in through large floor-to-ceiling windows. ◼️ The space is dotted with eclectic paraphernalia all over the cafe. ➡️ One wall of the cafe is filled with tons of nostalgic movie posters from Hayao Miyazaki anime films. ■One corner of wooden shelves is filled with traditional board games & other game gadgets for customers to play with while they sip their matcha lattes on a lazy sunny afternoon. 🟦 Food / Drinks ****************** 🟦 Hubby and I ordered a bowl of Tater Tots, which when eaten on the spot were hot, crispy & so delicious! 🟦 We shared a mug of "Ichigo" Strawberry Matcha Latte beverage, which was refreshing matcha latte with tangy and piquant notes of strawberry jam. 🍓🍓 "Ichigo" means strawberry in Japanese. 🟢 Service ************* 🟢 Timothy and his co-owner, a young lady, were both very friendly, amiable and exuded genuine vibes and warmth. 🟢 My hubby and I felt truly comfortable dining in this cafe. It was like being in a friend's home, featuring a casual and non-pretentious ambience. 🟢 If you wish to have a relaxing time in a Nihon-inspired cafe, then this is the place to come. Thank you to both the owners for being such hospitable people.

Delicious food with friendly staff. Nice place to relax and refresh yourself with beverages such as matcha and coffee as well as consume Japanese cuisine. Owner was very inviting and let us sample chili for his upcoming dish.

Its a blast and i had a wonderful small group gathering in snack-bites omakase style! 😊 The food was super on point. the boss and staff made it super chill and ease at home for everyone. Perfect spot for a after work chill gathering with the crew and enjoying scrumptious and possible food coma-inducing meal. Chix wing are self marinated with chef's receipe and its gone before i could even take a pic! Worth mentioning my favourites are the sambal petai, cutie prawn cracker, mooping and many more. Matcha w sparkling yuzu is a must order if you are a matcha and yuzu lover!!
