It is one of the best places that I visited in Vientiane. I found this coffee shop on Google Maps, which is behind MAG UXO Visitor Information Center. You should follow the little path next to the Indian restaurant named Nazim to reach the shop. The owner David is a warm and friendly person who likes talking to his customers. After walking in Vientiane a lot it was a good idea to have a speciality coffee at Dam Dam. David prepares every cup of coffee meticulously. He mentioned about a coffee making competition he participated in. The coffee that he prepared tasted mild and was nice to drink. If you go to Vientiane you should visit this place with a cosy atmosphere.

Sensational experience. Fantastic coffee, very cool arty setting - architecturally interesting. And the guy who owns this place is extremely friendly and has great chat. I really had a wonderful time drinking coffee here and talking to him about coffee/culture and life

The reviews about Dam Dam are on point - taste & location wise . I enjoyed talking to David about his aspirations for the place while sipping on an aeropress coffee (50k). Wished I had more time in Vientiane to try more variations of the beans - David said he's gonna at this location for the next 3 years, so that's probably a reason to return to Laos! Thank you for the awesome chat again!
