Drip 1920s

A very cozy, rustic cafe with a great ambiance to have a coffee or a small bite. Decorations were very unique and retro-themed, and music was even played from an antique gramophone. The drip coffee was very fragrant and there are different blends to choose from. Staff was very conscientious and focused when preparing, so the coffee served was really high standard. There’s also a hostel in the cafe, but we did not stay there to comment on it.

Very good selection of specialty single-origin coffees, which were brewed (w/ V60) and served perfectly. I only wish they also had one or two single-origin Lao coffees too.

Drip 1920 Café offers a cool retro vibe with its vintage-style decor and comfortable air-conditioned atmosphere, making it a nice spot to relax in Vientiane. The drinks are decent, but the service can be slow. While the fruit crepe is just okay, the honey toast is disappointing, with bread that tastes tough and old. If you’re visiting for the ambiance, it’s a pleasant place to hang out, but some of the food items could be improved.
