via GoogleHad a really great tea workshop for my friend’s bridal party here at Ette Tea over the weekend! Firstly, we were blown away by how amazing the tea here was. We were served with a starter tea that was so fragrant and we felt so perked by it. Secondly, we learnt so much about teas and how they are made from Victor who was teaching the workshop that day! Absolutely perfect for my friends who love tea and also rly interesting for some of us who don’t really know much about tea. Thirdly, we loved getting to make our own blends twice with victor’s guidance and getting to try one another’s blends. It was real fun! Fourth, we really appreciated the shop’s generosity to leave us with some extra special tea blends to bring home, on top of the blends we had already made. Last but not least, we loved the hospitality and warmth from the team! Kudos to Victor for making this such a fruitful and enjoyable time learning about tea. Informative yet such a joyful session at the same time! Looking forward to trying out more of their special tea blends too (:

via GoogleLovely tea shop! Tried the Pandan Chiffon and the Kebaya Blue, both were very nice and unique. Nice variety of sachets for sale in addition to loose leaf.

via GoogleQuality tea and both Eunice and Liping are super helpful and friendly ! As I was looking for a last minute Christmas gift today and was quite indecisive on which tea to pick, Eunice helped me pick 3 « local feel » teas as I wanted to get something « Singaporean » for this particular gift. So the Chicken rice / Pandan (best seller) / Fortune cookie were the perfect choices ! Will definitely come back. Thank you !

via GooglePopped by Ette Tea’s retail store located in a lovely quaint neighbourhood just a stone throw away from the bustling Keong Saik Road. The husband and I tried their locally inspired tea at a wedding and knew it would make the perfect gift for our friends overseas. They have a wide range of locally inspired flavours (like how cool does a Nasi Lemak tea sound?!) Service was excellent and the staff was incredibly patient in answering all our queries. Overall, a lovely experience and a must-visit for all tea lovers!

via GoogleAfter a big search and help from some lovely young Singaporeans, I finally found this little tea place ... a tea shop bijoux in Chinatown. The reason that Maps has trouble finding it – and I will add this to the location – is it's up on the first floor of a shop block and Maps will run you around in circles as it did me and several others who tried to come to my rescue. The reason I went there was because I wanted to get some lapsang souchong for my friend who's hosted me in Singapore. I have to say the prices are expensive – I have now realized I could have got this for $20 for 100g instead of $40 at another tea store in the Raffles,Center instead of $40. Is this because Ette's tea is higher quality? I would love to know. Either way I'm happy with my purchase and Jinkee who served me was lovely and I hope to see her on my next trip to Singapore. Tea in a caddy costs about $10 more which is also a bit steep!
