Homedoi Coffee

The coolest cafe we've been in chiangmai (figuratively & physically) due to the true jungle setting. Glad we persevered & found it at last.

Amazing! Highly recommend. Really enjoyable drinks and a very peaceful place to hang out. It's in a mini forest with a stream. It's pretty shaded, so we did get a little cold after a while, even though it was midday. I got an iced coffee, and my wife got a soda. We didn't order any food, but she brought out some lovely banana dough snacks, which we delicious. Could be a little hard to find. I've taken some pictures/videos that show the way in. Such a peaceful surprise! I thought it was just a coffee shop, but they actually have cozy bungalows too. I drove straight from Chiang Mai airport to Mae Kampong and stayed one night—it was so calm and relaxing. Two little streams flow right by the bungalow, which made it feel magical. Totally worth it!

I went for lunch to this place during my visit to the beautiful Mae Kampong village (and the surrounding area). This is absolutely a stunning place but at the same time a relaxing place to have some food or a coffee. You can sit (if space is available as most of these seats are already occupied) overlooking the small creek. The food is delicious at a very reasonable price (at a location like this). The restaurant area is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and efficient.

Natural scenic cafe hidden in the Mae Kam Pong district, Chiang Mai, Hom Doi Cafe gives you a true relaxation while sipping Thai local coffee style and tea. Coffee is not sophisticated compared to cafe in Chiang Mai city. For food, only 2 desserts and 1 spaghetti menu available. Here is good for visitors who seek peacefulness and natural relaxation. Bring your own Book is recommended. Don’t forget to say hi to “Heng Heng”, the cat master.
