Dropped by to get some buns for take away. Love the cranberry and walnut loaf bun, its soft, lightly sweet because of the cranberry and it has a nutty flavor from the walnut. They can slice the loaf bread for you upon request. Staffs are friendly, ambience is really calming and pleasant. Clean and nice place to hang out with friends. Hidden gem in this area. Many varieties of tea available. Good place to chill.

Legit good tea, great taste, superb high quality. Better than most bubble mainstream teas out there, you know you've tasted them, you know. However, there is no boba here, each cup specially handcrafted, milk tea with the tea taste lingering on your mind like some fresh dewdrops after the rain has poured, as fresh as it can possibly be. Truly no regrets trying this out, you may just make it your no.1 tea drink spot, a big FU to the diehard bubble tea enthusiasts if you don't give this a try. In short, Kichi Cha is a lucky find, to be serving very high quality tea at very reasonable prices, definitely worth it. 11/10.

On a hot day some people go to genting, some take a shower or a swim, others just switch on the AC. Old man goes to drink iced chinese tea. To continue with my gentrification series, we pick up at a quiet unknown upper floor shop called @kichicha.my located at the Sea Park market rectangle. So whenever you head to a mall, there will always be one old school tea house where the owner sits in a circle marble table and goes through this ritual of pouring, cleaning, pouring, sipping blocks of dried tea. Kichi Cha concept is the same except it's enjoying tea with friends. On the table today is Da hong Pao cold brew (RM9.90). Now before you jump on old man and scream I am off my rocker, paying (RM10) for iced chinese tea when the chicken rice shop below sells them for 60 sen a cup; answer me this. When you order Chinese tea at a kopitiam, do you feel a mish mash of flavors on your tongue after gulping down your beverage? If you don't, continue to order the 60 sen Chinese tea. However if there is a feeling of sometimes the tea leaves constricts your tongue receptors, other times, they leave bitter or sour after notes. Then try this RM9.90 cold brew tea. Smooth and fragrant is what you will get. There is a peachy hint in the leaves (very faint) that I accidently dunked my nose into the cup. So you would think the longer the leaves stay in the bottle, the stronger the tea will be. Nope, smooth. So forget what you know about the 60 sen mish mash of tea leaves. The ambience is nice. Open courtyard roof top. Rattan chairs. AC set to 18 degrees. The place does not sit a lot, only 4 tables inside and a few outdoor. If you like the nostalgic cafe feels then this will be up your alley. This is the moment where the hustle bustle on the streets just drown out when you sit, enjoy the cool AC and yum cha. Nice place to chill. Kind of underrated. Coffee is decent. Like their sourdough.
