Minimal Tomigaya

APRIL 2023 Visited this specialty chocolate store and ordered the parfait and chocolate soda. The drink was light and refreshing; combining rich chocolate with citrus flavor. The parfait uses cacao beans from various regions around the globe to make different components of the parfait such as the chocolate ice cream, biscuit crumble and sauce. It was not too sweet and the strawberry jelly added a fruity tartness, pretty tasty. The staff was happy to explain when I had some questions about the menu items.

You thought you knew what good hot chocolate taste like. Be prepared to question everything you thought you knew of hot chocolate. I came by one chilly evening while wandering tomigaya neighborhood and got the hot chocolate. I was warned that the drink is extremely hot. After 5 minutes, the drink remained insanely hot. It's was the smoothest hot chocolate I have ever had. While inside you can try out a few samples of their other chocolate bars. All had an interesting taste and texture.

We had the bean to bar sampler. I just really wanted to try cocao pulp juice but it wasn't as I imagined. It was sour which I didn't expect, but happy I tried it anyway. The chocolates were really good. Some with fruity notes taste very unique. My only negative feedback was their AC was constantly blowing stinky air at us. I think it needs a cleaning service.
