Tried their type 1 (single origin, the highest quality) matcha as a latte with soy milk and can highly recommend. Although it's on a pricier side, it's whisked to perfection, the matcha powder they use is of high quality, and you can customise the sugar level. I can highly recommend taking it with no sugar and with soy milk as it nicely complements the umami notes of matcha. Will be back!

Their straight matcha drinks are excellent. Their specialty matcha was vibrant, aromatic, and incredibly smooth, with a clean umami and seaweed-like note. The shop is spacious and tidy, making the experience enjoyable. Prices vary by matcha grade, Taimu being the premium option at $9.90, while the Gyokuei range is more affordable.

Chanced upon this matcha store during my trip and it quickly became a daily stop. I absolutely loved their straight matcha latte (#1) — so good that I came back every single day. I make my own matcha at home, and this place still completely blew me away. Highly, highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the ichigo matcha here - they used a Chinese green tea powder called Yangyu Longshang, which was rich, round, and had amazing depth of taste. It complimented well with the strawberry jam and oat milk that I got. I was skeptical about it being pre-blended matcha but honestly it was wonderful. The staff (whom I forgot to get the name of) was also extremely helpful and kind. It was really peaceful on a Saturday afternoon with no wait. Highly recommend, though during weekdays you may experience a longer wait.
