Otsu Coffee

Great decor with a fantastic and fun location. Very friendly staff that really work hard to provide a great atmosphere and small but fantastic menu. The chocolate cake is simply the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my life it’s truly wonderful and the cheesecake is also very impressive! Please visit I promise you won’t be disappointed!

We came after lunch on a fairly hot and humid day. Not sure if we were unlucky but it was very busy. This place is right outside the shrine though so I wouldn't be surprised if it was busy every weekend. There were 2 groups in front of us and by the time we got a seat (took about 40 minutes) there were at least another 4 behind us). There were no seats or lists when we went; people just formed a line outside. Since it was really busy, they had actually run out of chocolate cake :( But there was aircon and the decor was nice. They did not have any time limit so there was a group of 3 who were there before we came in and were still there by the time we left.

We stumbled this cafe on randomly while sightseeing in Tokyo. It was so lovely. Coffee is pour over style single cup. It was incredible! And the cheesecake was delicious as well! Definitely stop in if you get a chance
