Such a wonderful place! The lady was so patient and nice, explaining the different types of teas she offered (I encourage you speak Italian if possible, but English is also ok) and how to order (minimum of 100g per tea flavor). As a tea enthusiast, this was on my list to visit when in Venice. The options are great, from black to white tea, and they had a Christmas tea collection you could choose! If I visit Venice again, I would most definitely come back.

Wow! I loved this place. I got the Pistachio black to because I asked the super sweet lady what her favorite was and she let me smell that one. I have tried it now and it is the best tea I have ever had. I will definitely be shipping some to me because of how amazing it is.

“DON'T TOUCH.” That’s how I was spoken to, sharply and rudely, in front of other customers, simply for trying to read the name on a tea jar placed openly on the table. The tone was passive-aggressive and humiliating. My husband immediately wanted to walk out after seeing how I was treated. What’s frustrating is that we had walked in genuinely excited. The shop smelled amazing, and as tea lovers, we were looking forward to buying local Venetian tea and supporting a small business. The lady was attending to Italian customers when we entered, and we patiently waited, quietly browsing to decide what to buy in advance. I was being careful and respectful, just trying to understand what I was looking at. Despite the way I was spoken to, we stayed calm, remained polite, and still made a purchase. We chose respect, even when it wasn’t given. If customers are not supposed to touch items, it should be clearly written, as is common across Venice. Speaking to customers like this is simply not acceptable. A place can smell beautiful, but one moment of disrespect is enough to ruin the entire experience. I have attached as proof(in red circle) that I did buy in the end.
