it was my very first time, super cosy cafe to spend my me time after a busy day at work. i had a very great time with a nice and clam ambience, the music was very sentimental. let's talk about the drinks and dessert it was lowkey delicious, order a chinese tea and pair with zucchini loaf which made my evening. lastly, the staff was genuinely nice, very soft service and helpful, i love how all the staff gave the calm energy. thank you guys ! will definitly be my metime cafe.

Mid Jan 2026: Got a chance to eat in. Cozy corner at a busy area. Good place to chill out. The Mandarin orange cake is indeed refreshing. Creamy cheese matcha is my favorite. Creamy, firm texture. Early Jan 2026: Take away order via friends. The choc cherry moist is creamy, a layer of cherry jam in the middle. Match pamelo is kind of special, while eating the matcha cake, with pamelo sacth in outer layer. Basil tomatoes... Something new, 1st chew, Basil smell (like eating spaghetti) then u will taste the tomato cutlet and little tomato sweetness.

Great cafe! The coffee and hot chocolate we got was delicious, as well as the madeleines. The service was exceptional, we forgot to bring cash, and since we can’t use QR pay, the owner kindly spent time with us, to add the shop into our bank transfer. Everyone was so friendly and the vibe is so relaxing with a lovely florist next door.

Visited Pohutukawa Coffee recently and had a really relaxed and enjoyable café experience. The café has a good vibe with a calm, laid-back atmosphere, making it a nice spot to slow down, chill, or catch up with friends without feeling rushed. I tried their bagel, which is simple but well done, nothing overly fancy, but comforting and satisfying. The highlight was the homemade mixed berries jam, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet, making it pair really well with the bagel. Overall, a nice café for light bites, good coffee, and a relaxing atmosphere, especially if you’re looking for something simple and easygoing.

Visited many many monthssss back but only now had the time to write my review. I keep notes of all places i visit. Located above Ubat Tong Seng. Theres a list of house rules at the bottom of stairs. Press the doorbell, it took them about <5mins to open the door, i was actually worried they werent open but thankfully they were. Just need to be patient because they are busy serving customers. Matcha Latte (rm16); i find it abit too milky for my preference and the milk has a little barny smell like fresh from the cow (no its not spoiled). but in general, matcha is decent. Breton Cookie (2 for rm9); very crumbly, butter smell so fragrant yet taste abit salty and sweet. taste pretty decent. im a baffoon eating and dropping crumbs all over the table, best to put the entire piece straight into your mouth and avoid cutting it. i wanted to enjoy it bit by bit and ended up making a mess. When we arrived, the waiter is seng muk, he came over and asked first are those empty cups ours before proceeding to clear it.
