This Porto’s location was excellent, with great food, service, atmosphere, and organization. The multiple bakery ordering lines made the experience efficient, and Jasmine provided outstanding customer service by being friendly and addressing me by name throughout my visit. I enjoyed both the cheese and guava Danish and the tiramisu. The Danish stood out for its excellent balance of cheese and guava, texture, and overall flavor. The tiramisu was also very good, with well-made ladyfingers and a great consistency, though it contained slightly more chocolate than I preferred. The restaurant’s music, plants, and overall ambiance created a pleasant environment. I would definitely recommend visiting this location and would gladly return.

Great spot with fantastic vibes—modern, sleek, and very well organized. Parking is plentiful and free, either right out front or in the surrounding shopping mall areas. Weekends get very busy, with a line at the door, but it moves surprisingly fast. Once inside, there are a couple of lines, which actually gives you time to look at the menu and all the items on display. The service is absolutely impeccable—fast, efficient, and very thoughtful, especially if it’s your first visit. You order everything at one station, and depending on what you get, some items are handed to you right away while others are brought to your table. If you’re dining in, they give you a buzzer that cleverly guides the staff to your table, so you don’t have to stand up or wait around to pick up your food. I was also impressed that there was no forced tip prompt at checkout—something that feels rare these days. That said, the service was so good that it actually made me want to leave a tip. There’s a large outdoor patio with plenty of seating, as well as indoor tables. And of course, the food speaks for itself: everything is delicious and famously made on-site, which you can see as you walk through. The pastries were incredibly fresh and flaky. Prices are shockingly reasonable, especially for LA and considering the quality of both the food and the service.

When you go to California, you go to Porto’s! Be prepared to line up. The store is packed which tells you how great this place is. Brought home boxes of bread back to Canada so others can try their heavenly baked goods. We dined in and had their Cuban specialty. To be honest, it’s better than the food we had in Cuba.

I am not from the area, but was always told how delicious Portos is and man, people not wrong. Every single pastry and treat I got here was so delicious and also reasonably priced this place was so packed and it was hard to find parking, but it was worth it. The staff were all so nice to me since I was in crutches and helped me order. I will be coming back to order here every single time. I’m in the area.

Porto's Bakery & Cafe is, without a doubt, one of the best places in Los Angeles. We keep coming back again and again because everything here is consistently outstanding. The staff and overall operation run like Swiss clockwork — everything is organized, efficient, fast, and incredibly smooth. No matter how busy it gets, the service is always on point, orders are handled quickly, and the quality never slips. The food and desserts are absolutely amazing. In my opinion, Porto's has the best desserts in Los Angeles. They manage to achieve the perfect level of sweetness — flavorful and indulgent without being overly sugary. The variety is incredible, and there is always something new to try while still enjoying all the classics. For the past three years, we've purchased every celebration cake exclusively from Porto's. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or family gathering, they never disappoint. The cakes are beautiful, delicious, and always a hit with everyone. I truly admire this business and the standards they maintain. It's rare to find a place that delivers such a consistently excellent experience year after year. Wishing the entire Porto's team continued success, growth, and prosperity. You have created something truly special, and it shows in every detail.
