What a special restaurant. Such lovely detail. I looooved the interior. The staff was nice and the food good. The ceremoial cacao tasted great and the handmade mugs are so special! My gypsy heart was in love.

The place is charming and beautifully decorated, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We really enjoyed the desserts and cocoa, which were delicious. However, the staff completely ruined the experience. The woman at the counter had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever dealt with. She acted like answering our questions was a huge inconvenience. Every response came after a long pause, as she slowly looked up from her phone. This wasn’t a language problem—it was clear she just didn’t care. She didn’t offer us menus or help, even when we were standing by the fridge trying to figure out the chocolate selection. It felt like she was a bored museum guard rather than someone there to help customers. To make things worse, we ordered the vanilla cocoa, which is more expensive and something we were excited to try. But when it arrived, it tasted just like the regular cocoa I had a few days earlier—no vanilla flavor at all. When we asked about it, the woman rolled her eyes, yelled something to the kitchen, and then told us they had added the vanilla. Her tone and expression were rude and dismissive. On my first visit, the owner was there, and she was very kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed that experience. But when she isn’t around, it seems like the staff doesn’t care how they treat customers. While the place itself and the desserts are great, the poor service makes it hard to recommend.

My favorite cafe on the planet to read, write, journal, or to simply hang with a friend. The atmosphere of dark woods, earth tones, tasteful eclectic furniture, carefully selected decor, and bookshelves with interesting reads, pair nicely with the refined chill playlist, along with a rich cup of cacao ceremony, tea, or coffee, depending on the mood of the moment. A bonus is the laptop free environment, making for a nice escape from screens, making this gem of a place feel like the fairytale that it is.
