Sơn Pacamara Roastery & Coffee Shop

i came here a few times the past two days. i like their iced latte and the hand-brew coffee the most. the cafe latte here is probably my favorite coffee i’ve had in da lat. the hand-brew coffee could be too weak for some people if they are used to regular Viet style coffee but i enjoyed them. i had lang biang blend and typica. they gave the little card to introduce the bean type with some lines to take note (if you want to), i would have if they gave me a pen, but i also didn’t ask for it. the space is also nice if you need some spacious space without tons of people or tourists who taking pictures nonstop. if you like plants there are a huge eucalyptus tree in front and couple big monstera and philodendron inside. i had the cascara (dried coffee husk) tea with soda and lemon jam twice. the first time was great but today there were so many little rock sugar in the jam. the same with cold brew lemon i had yesterday. also when i came more than 1/2 of the food items on the menu aren’t available… the staff explained to me why they have limited pastry items but still… i tried pain aux raisin and brownie with ice cream. while i like the pain aux raisin, it was flaky and not too sweet and not too buttery, the brownie was chalky and crumble with too sweet ice cream. honestly it was the most disappointing item i tried here. i wish i just ordered another pain aux raisin instead.

The cold brew preserved the coffee’s refreshing taste, offering a natural sweetness without any bitterness, making it a great choice to complement the rainy mood. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the quiet space was ideal for both meaningful conversations and enjoying a peaceful moment. Overall, it’s the perfect spot for high-quality coffee and good company, especially on rainy days when you’re looking for a cozy place to relax and recharge.
