Studious Coworking Space

This is a marvelous space to work! I’m used to Coworking spaces feeling sterile and lacking community. Studious feels like a cozy oasis to meet others working on cool projects! I’m grateful for coming here when I did, especially because everyone working here took a break and ate lunch together. What a wholesome experience. They have great monitors and big tables to use to get work done ☑️ Definitely coming again for the vibes, comfortable surroundings to work, and great community!

I love Studious! It’s a beautifully appointed coworking space, but so much more than that - it’s a real community hub for Chinatown as well! Judy & Moon who run the space are incredibly thoughtful, welcoming, supportive, and community-minded. They put on all kinds of events (check out their Meetup page “Chinatown Community Events”). I run a small pop-up tea house and have poured tea at many of their cultural events, including a Mid-Autumn Festival gathering and Lunar New Year mahjong & tea event, and even hosted a Tea 101 class here! It’s always a joy to pour tea at Studious because the community that shows up is always so friendly, diverse, interesting, and there’s always good conversation to be had. I’ve met new friends and collaborators here. Plus they support some awesome local causes! Support this local Chinatown business!!

Studious Collective is a great coworking spot in Chinatown LA. Excellent WiFi, good coffee, comfortable work areas, meeting rooms, private offices, and a really friendly community vibe. It’s perfect if you need a place to focus, take meetings, host an event, or just get out of the house and be around other creative, interesting people.

I booked a conference room for the full day to do some annual planning with my co-founder. It went incredibly well, in large part because Studious really set the tone! Karli and Judy were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even went above and beyond and surprised us with a little basket of snacks and drinks from the kitchen during our break. I loved the thoughtful details: there were office supplies we could borrow like scrap paper, pens, pushpins. The conference room had a curtain you could draw over the glass doors to focus and block out chatter. The location was amazing, too! We were able to grab lunch and go for a walk in the area. Overall loved our experience and will be back!

I have been posting up at Studious since before it was Studious. (It was KleverDog.) It's always been great, but the current version, run by Judy and Moon, is outstanding. A truly friendly, community-minded co-working space with lots of thoughtful touches and interesting, engaged members and visitors. They welcome input and are constantly making little upgrades and experimenting with the space (A phone booth AND a little sound-proof phone room, for example.) Occasional free lunches and bagel breakfasts don't hurt, either. You should come check it out if you need a place to quietly, respectfully do your thing.
