Tanita Coffee House

This is the second time I stay in Tabitha house. The place is just perfect for a stay in Chiang Mai. |1- location very convenient and very calm when you want to relax|2- Very clean, confortable and well maintain . There is an harmony you can feel |3- Aor makes the difference by her availability : she is always there to welcome you and to give you the best tips for visit or arrange anything you need.|4- the Tanita coffe shop is such a cute coffee house where you ca eat the simplest and the best traditional dishes and relax with a nice drink. |All these points combined just make you feel that you really are at the right place. There is everything you need.

I'm here for the coffee shop...I live close by. A beautiful 120 year old compound full of history...and good coffee. Comfortable seating...dessert selection and good coffee. Great place

My girlfriend and I stayed at Tanita House for 6 nights in November. The host, Aor, was an absolute delight who welcomed us with open arms and looked after us the entire stay. The rooms were spotless and the setting was traditional and beautiful. Aor prepared breakfast every morning, cooked to order and her Nephew’s cafe next door was also a great place for a coffee. We can’t recommend this place enough and would revisit in a heartbeat!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The place feels cozy and friendly, and the food came out fast. I ordered Pad Thai and it was delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The cappuccino was also really good.

Tanita Coffee House is a true hidden gem in Chiang Mai! The moment you step into the compound, you're transported into a peaceful, traditional Lanna-style oasis. The coffee is excellent—they use quality, local Arabica beans—and the Thai cuisine is delicious. It’s the perfect, relaxing escape from the city hustle, wrapped in beautiful old-world charm. Highly recommended for an authentic and tranquil coffee experience! Plus point it's that there is a Thai antiques store located at the back of the coffee shop. Some really interesting pieces and owners are extremely friendly and happy to talk about the history of the items.
