This place was recommended by our friends who visited it in Oct earlier this year. And since we were in Dalat to spend our Christmas, we decided to book our Christmas Dinner at Thom. Didn't know what to expect, as it's our 1st visit to this restaurant. But the moment we arrived, we were ushered in by the beautiful Christmas jazz songs playing in the background. This place was magical, with the Christmas lights adoring the trees, the atmosphere were just amazing. We ordered the Christmas Set, it was a 6 course dinner with a glass of red wine each. I must say it was very well done, the plating was beautiful, and just right for our taste. The Black Agnus cut was a bit disappointing though, the portion could be a bit larger for the beef. Overall the food was fantastic and the ambience just unforgettable. One thing we wished the restaurant can improve on though, they should have credit card payment facility made available to the guests. Other than that, I would give this place a Highly Recommended choice for dining.

The garden was wonderful. It had a view that stretched far away. You could even watch squirrels eating flowers on the branches of the opposite tree. There were tables both indoors and outdoors. But with that view and the weather in Đà Lạt, who would want to sit inside? The plate of shrimp pasta was perfectly delicious but came with a price that far exceeded my lunch budget. 255K.
