via GoogleTortoni Cafe has a pretty solid vibe overall. I didn’t try any food this time, but I did get an iced Americano. It was a bit more bitter than what I’m used to from other spots around town, though not undrinkable. The atmosphere itself is nice, with a steady flow of people coming and going, which gives it a lively but not overwhelming feel. The guys behind the counter seemed a little off, like they might have been having a bad day or were irritated about something unrelated to my order. It wasn’t a deal breaker, but it did stand out compared to the otherwise pleasant setting. One big plus is that it’s very dog friendly, which I always appreciate. Parking, however, is rough, but that’s pretty much par for the course in LA. All in all, it’s a decent stop with a good atmosphere, especially if you’re out with your dog and don’t mind the parking situation.

via GoogleWe love this place. Fantastic coffee and now that it’s summer I love their matcha green tea lemonade. The quiche and the empanadas are delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed.

via GoogleThis is one of my favorite coffee shops in the Valley—and I’m a bit of a coffee snob! I love supporting a small, Argentinian-owned business. The pastries are delicious, the lattes are excellent, and the service is always great. The baristas are kind and patient, which makes the experience even better. Parking can be a little tricky, but that’s pretty typical anywhere on Ventura Blvd.

via GoogleReally great place! Coffee variety was great, not too sweet and the vibe is just really nice. There's small tables outside, inside, and little corner comfy chairs to use. Empanadas were delicious!!

via GoogleNot a regular to the area, Tortoni caught my attention as I was trying to find a cafe nearby and seeing it being one of the highly rated. Having both indoor and outdoor patio, the capacity was decent and despite being busy the people's turnover went pretty quick. Their baristas were super helpful and patient waiting for me making my decision as I was firstly bit overwhelmed looking at the option including their seasonal fall drink menu. I ended up following the crowd with their favorite Nutty Latte, which came with blend of macadamia and hazelnut syrup. They served Verve coffee beans so their coffee was pretty good, lil bit on the milky side for my liking but plus point was prolly it would suit those who fancied just subtle level of sweetness for their latte. I did enjoy the nutty aromatic hint from the coffee. I also paired my coffee to their walnut pastry which was enjoyable buttery nibble especially as they offered reheating pre-served!
