via GoogleNice spacious inside and quick service. The space was ventilated nicely and the workers were friendly. Slightly limited menu and drink options, and there were no flavored lattes available. The mocha I got was kind of syrupy tasting and my boyfriend got an almond milk latte, which I thought was gross. Not because this place made it poorly but because almond milk is nasty to me.

via GoogleVisited this café for the first time, and the experience left me with mixed feelings. I asked for a macchiato, and the barista asked if I had come from Starbucks. I thought he meant it in terms of drink size, so I said yes. Later, I realized it was tied to frustration...apparently, people from the Starbucks next door were coming over just to use the restroom... I hadn't known Starbucks was nearby. I don't frequent the area. I even commented, “Well, that’s more business for you,” trying to offer a positive spin. But he replied that the people in line weren’t buying anything. Fair enough, but if that’s the issue, then those who do purchase something should be given priority. I was a paying customer, along with my friend, and we waited in a line that snaked through the store, only to eventually give up and leave. But he was alone so I completely understand. I ordered a latte instead of the macchiato, and while it was drinkable, it wasn’t made with love. The ambiance was nice, but the overall energy felt off. What really stood out was when another woman came in behind me and ordered, and when she said she hadn’t come from Starbucks, he smiled and said, “Well, in that case, I’m really glad you’re here.” That felt passive-aggressive and unnecessary. Customers shouldn't feel judged or dismissed. My bad for misunderstanding the question..I guess. Would I come back? Probably not. Maybe for the ambiance, but certainly not for the hospitality.

via GoogleGreat customer service and an all around awesome experience to enjoy a fresh orange juice and get a quick coffee! Coming from AZ and I’ve never really had as good hospitality as this! Shoutout to Wes!

via GoogleI have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the cafe Variety Cofee Roasters in Financial District, NYC, USA. Nice coffee spot near the Brooklyn Bridge in the Financial District. We grabbed two takeaway coffees and a muffin, all of which were very good. The service was friendly and efficient, and prices are fair for the area. There are also seats inside if you’d like to stay a bit, and the restrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, a great place for a quick coffee break in downtown New York!

via GoogleThis is the perfect place for a quick meetup with someone, or an on the go coffee with pastries. In our case we have two teens and a dog. We had to have a brief and frugal breakfast before hitting the streets of NY. This place is great, we came to get breakfast here three out of four mornings that we visited the city. The clientele is diverse and a lot of dog owners favor this place, our dog had a great time. The manager Jake was extremely kind to us and happily removed the ice from our chocolate milk as requested by my daughter. On the third visit I forgot to order said chocolate milk and after I went back to order it I got it on the house. Details like this make the experience great and give New York a friendly reputation. I would go back here again.
