Wacker's coffee shop

Located near Myzeil or Goethe House and Roemerberg as well in Frankfurt. It has been over 100 years since it began its business here by female founder. Shop was continuously busy with visitors and there are only 3 tables outside (maybe) always occupied by some people. We, fortunately, secured seats with one old gentleman’s kind table sharing with him. I don’t know if my expectations were too high, but the coffee tasted ordinary. It does not mean the coffee is something so-so, but good enough with rich aroma but was a bit too much roasted one to me. We bought 500 g whole bean to taste further later. Along with coffee itself, I think it’s worth visiting here to take some time by having a good atmosphere and some sweets as well.

EPIC poppy seed cheesecake. The texture is amazing, soft, gooey, layered with diced apples for tartness. Simply amazing. 10/10 for this! Apple tart, avocado slice were stellar too. Not a fan of the layered carrot cake, tad dry and dense but good that it's not very sweet. Amazing homemade bakes and definitely bookmarking this place !

Wacker's is a family owned coffee retailer and cafe with over a hundred years of history starting at this shop at Kornmarkt. They have a few indoor tables and a few outside standing tables as well if you want to have a morning caffeine fix. We stopped by early on and were served a very good espresso macchiato and black coffee. The coffee is strong, bold and smooth, a very blend for morning coffee. Were very happy with the coffee at this Wacker's Kaffee shop and found what was served at the Cafe Wacker branch at Schweizer Straße to be very good as well.
