The name Alain Ducasse alone conveys quality and opulence. His chocolate l'aterlier store Drew us in to see what he has for us. The place is well decorated and offers tons of chocolate options.

The employee (SAKUMA - the one on the left) here is rude. She does not speak English and does not understand the customers and already being rude. We were asking a table of 4 and they have 2 seats available and asked us to seat down first. My son went to the bathroom so I sat down with my daughter to keep her accompanied and when my son returned so I want to swap with him as we just sat down and haven’t ordered. But Sakauma was rude before understanding me. Her attitude was bad, extremely bad even for normal standard. i think she nees training otherwise ahe should be fired. it is ok not understanding english but not aggressively rude.

MAR 2024 On the first floor is the chocolate retail and upstairs is a café where you can enjoy some dessert and drink. The café is surrounded by glass window where you can see the chocolate factory. I had the 'Coupe Glacée Praline Café' and a iced chocolate. The drink was rich with a tasty milk chocolate flavor, portion is a bit less though with three quarter cup filled and large ice cubes. The ice cream dessert was nice and chilled, very delicious. Hot chocolate sauce is poured on top, melting the thin chocolate and underneath is some crispy praline and coffee ice cream; decadent yet refreshing. The desserts and drinks are definitely not cheap but I think the premium quality justifies the price. Staff was also friendly and helpful, providing a walkthrough of each of the dessert on the menu.
