Best apple crumble EVER. I’m a crumble > apple filling person and their crumble & tart base are so buttery & fragrant!!! Husband rarely ask to eat something specific, but their pastries are highly sought after by him. The pecan pie was also excellent!!! And so many nuts 😋 saw a guy before me buying 8x mushroom quiche so I got it too - generous amount of mushroom and as usual, they nailed it! ☺️

These mini apple crumble tarts ($6.50) are amazing! The cookie crust/base(?) is buttery and crunchy (not the soggy kind) while the insides were filled w some sweet caramelised apple dices and raisins which I gotta say it's a well balance of sweetness and texture. (My favourite) If you are not a fan of sweet flavours, can try their pandan chiffon cake ($4 for small, $8 for big) Freshly baked (we literally waited 20 mins for it) with just the right sweetness — light, fluffy, and incredibly soft. (parents’ stamp of approval) nostalgic old school taste which was perfect for our tea break!

My first visit was months ago when they first opened. While Bukit Panjang has many bakeries, there is certainly a gap in the neighborhood for artisanal bakes. I had high expectations as they are a 老字號 in Clementi. I got a banana cake and quiche then but wasn't impressed. The quiche has potential but it was too salty. I decided to give them another chance and deliberately waited a while for them to settle down before revisiting. This visit, I spotted sourdough and noticed they have more premium bakes. I actually wanted to get the apple crumble tart as I recall it has good reviews but the staff recommends the mini apple crumble pies instead. It was $6.50 for 6, which is very affordable. I do wish they would sell individual portions to allow patrons to try more of their items. I toasted them lightly before eating. Like the quiche I got previously, the crust could have been more crumbly or buttery; it was quite hard and does not crumble. The apple filling was flavourful, with a well-balanced hint of cinnamon, and I do wish it was slightly less sweet. Though this didn't entirely meet my expectations, I think the quality is fair for the price. Perhaps, I should try their sourdough next time. Update Jun 2025: Revisit and got the Mixed Nuts Mini Tarts 6 for $6.50 and Spinach & Cheese Sourdough $10. These 2 items are far better than my previous purchase. Will certainly come back for more.

This is probably the best banana cake I’ve ever eaten. As soft as cotton while still retaining adequate moisture, sweetness was just right, not to point of feeling diabetic.

Their cakes and pies are good. ESPECIALLY RECOMMEND THE MATCHA ROLL CAKE! Its so moist and balance, with the slightly sweet cream paired with matcha laced cake. Not always available so you need to try your luck. Another thing is their fruit pies, with fresh fruits and fragrant tart, yummy! Unfortunately for the bread, its not up to my standard yet, found it pretty average. Tried their srawberry roll recently, it was so moist. The strawberry jam in there not too sweet and had big chunks of strawberry. It was such a treattt! Support them so they can always be aroundd!
